She had previously been an administrative assistant and scheduling coordinator for St. Charles Community College. She is an Army wife and has also worked at the Family Resilience Center at Fort Bliss, TX as a support assistant and was the Family Readiness Group Leader from 2013-2015. She has a Bachelor of Science in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of Missouri – St. Louis.
