Mrs. Janie Mozingo

Recruiter and Registration Specialist 

Mrs. Janie Mozingo is a prior police officer with St. Charles Police Department and a proud Eastern Missouri Police Academy graduate, where she actually served as Class Commander of her Recruit Class. She has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from Missouri Baptist University. Mrs. Mozingo was born and raised in Kenya, Africa, and moved to the United States at the age of 17. She now works as the Eastern Missouri Police Academy Recruiter and Registration Specialist where she is honored to serve and hopes to use her experience to support and assist those who are considering a career in law enforcement. Mrs. Mozingo is a tremendous asset as an employee with the Academy considering she has made herself knowledgeable about many facets of the various positions at the Academy, lending her assistance in a variety of capacities. When Mrs. Mozingo isn’t working she enjoys spending time with her husband and family, along with taking care of her mini farm of goats, chickens, bees, and a garden.
